The Phoenix area office will be joining Granite’s Arizona Region, headquartered in Tucson, which employs nearly 300 people and serves clients throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas.
Granite regional vice president Todd Hill says: “While Granite has been providing construction services throughout Arizona for more than 40 years, the Phoenix Area office provides a local team dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to our clients and communities in Central Arizona.”
Granite recently completed the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway project in the area as part of the joint venture (JV) team Connect 202 Partners, which also includes Fluor Corporation and Ames Construction.
The JV team built a new 22-mile stretch of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway from the I-10 Maricopa Freeway to the I-10 Papago Freeway providing mobility throughout the region as part of a $917 million contract.
“The Phoenix metropolitan area is home to growing industries including education, manufacturing, technology, and healthcare and our dedicated Granite team is well-positioned to provide the infrastructure needed to support that growth,” Hill adds.
