McLanahan’s UltraFINES Recovery System Improve Plant Performance

McLanahan UltraFINES Recovery SystemUltraFINES Recovery Systems
McLanahan’s UltraFINES Recovery Systems are used to help producers maximize resource recovery and reduce waste. Designed to capture and dewater fine solids that would otherwise be lost to the settling pond, the UltraFINES Recovery System provides a reliable solution for improving overall plant performance.

UltraFINES Recovery Systems are ideal for operations dealing with variable feed streams, limited water availability or the need to reduce the volume of solids reporting to downstream settling or watertreatment equipment.

McLanahan UltraFINES Recovery SystemSystem Capabilities
UltraFINES Recovery Systems are engineered to recover material up to +400 mesh. By removing these fines from the plant’s effluent stream, producers can dramatically reduce the amount of solids reporting to settling ponds or downstream watertreatment equipment. The recovered fines are discharged as a stackable, conveyable product that can be stockpiled, blended or further processed. This makes the system an ideal fit for processing applications where fine material recovery directly impacts efficiency and profitability.

McLanahan UltraFINES Recovery SystemMcLanahan UltraFINES Recovery SystemHow the System Works
Each system is made up of a sump, Pump, Hydrocyclones/Separators™ and a Dewatering Screen. The sump collects the effluent stream containing fine solids, and the Pump delivers this slurry to the Hydrocyclones/Separators™, where the fine material is concentrated and classified. The underflow is then discharged onto a Dewatering Screen, which removes excess moisture and produces a drier, more manageable fines product. This integrated approach provides producers the ability to recover fines efficiently while improving water recycling and reducing the load on settling ponds. This allows the system to support cleaner process water, more efficient plant operation and improved environmental performance.

Operational Advantages
Producers turn to UltraFINES Recovery Systems when they want to recover valuable fines currently lost to waste, reduce the burden on settling ponds or tailings systems, improve waterrecycling efficiency or operate in areas where water availability is limited. The system’s flexibility allows it to be tailored to specific material characteristics and production goals, giving operations a reliable and adaptable solution for longterm performance.
