Dings Self-Cleaning Permanent Magnets comes equipped with a multi-ply rubber self-cleaning belt designed with 1-inch hot vulcanized cleats. The self-cleaning belt continuously travels across the face of the magnet, automatically discharging tramp iron. This is ideal in applications where manually cleaning a stationary magnet isn’t an option or the amount of ferrous removed from the material is extensive.
Dings Self-Cleaning Permanent Magnets employ our unique DFC (Dings Flux Control) circuit design. The DFC Circuit uses strategically placed blocking magnets at the poles to redirect the flux (magnetism) lost in other designs back into your product stream, increasing performance. In Overhead magnets this results in the magnetic field extending deeper into the burden.
