SEW-EURODRIVE’s gear units designed for agitator/mixer applications are equipped with an extended bearing hub specifically optimized for use in mixing and agitating applications – like attrition and floatation cells, and separators. These units are available in tried and tested SEW-EURODRIVE standard gear unit designs. An optional drywell prevents contamination from oil leakage.
The benefits of these specialized drives include high permitted overhung loads with no additional bearing required for the agitator shaft. They are available in our right-angle, parallel, and inline gear units in the R.., F.., and K.. series designs. Multiple sizes, adapters, and sealing options are available for custom applications.
