 Feeding
Feeders aid in the transportation of minerals through your application. McLanahan offers a range of feeders, as well as complete material systems, that are capable of loading and unloading minerals to and from other aspects of the process. McLanahan Feeders can be programmed to feed material at a speed and capacity to match your operation’s needs. McLanahan feeders can also be used for sampling, testing and storing.  Scrubbing
There are a handful of ways to scrub your minerals and remove unwanted materials and coatings before sending them to the downstream portion of the processing plant. McLanahan’s scrubbing equipment focuses on material-on-material attrition to scrub your product, allowing the material to turn on itself while the unwanted material is separated from your desirable product. They also allow you to perform maintenance and operate them from a distance, eliminating the need to go near the conveyor belt to collect a sample. McLanahan’s Mechanical Sampling Systems include options such as Sample Preparation Equipment, Sampling Systems and Sampling/Pilot Plant Crushers to help you find the best solution for your sampling application.
Tailings & Water Management
Meeting environmental and permitting regulations is a crucial part of planning for tailings management. McLanahan offers equipment to help establish a tailings management strategy for your plant. Thickeners and Filter Presses give producers the ability to reduce or eliminate settlings ponds while recovering water for reuse. They also help ensure that solid fractions in the waste water are in a state that can be stored while creating a potentially saleable product from the fines that are recovered. Other tailings and water management equipment such as Dewatering Screens, Decanter Centrifuges, Hydrocyclones and Slurry Pumps help to separate as much water from solid material as possible for reuse.
