Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, invites aggregates professionals to an exclusive open house tour of a custom-built, high-capacity wash plant designed and engineered for production of C33 concrete sand and mortar sand.
Kimball Equipment sold the 1,000-tons-per-hour wash plant, overseen by Superior’s Construction Management division, for Gila River Sand and Gravel’s new Blackwater Plant in Coolidge, Arizona. The site is about 50 minutes southwest of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and located on the Gila River Indian Community.
Highlights of the new wash plant include:
- Surge tunnel feeds plant or can move raw material to truck load-out
- (2) 8×20 wet horizontal screens fed by clay-scrubbing blade mills
- (2) Versatile sand plants with cyclones and dewatering screens
- Flexible production of C33 concrete sand and mortar sand
- Advanced systems that optimize water usage and reduce waste
