 Xylem Custom Floating Barge
Save your dewatering pump from excessive wear and tear with a custom-designed and manufactured floating barge, properly sized for your application. A Xylem barge will be on display at booth 8283, featuring a Goulds Water Technology vertical turbine with hydraulic coverage ranging from 5-20,00 GPM (with options up to 50,000 GPM) to meet the high head demands for pit dewatering. The floating barge ensures the vertical turbine will not burrow into the bottom sediment should water levels drop, preserving the equipment and optimizing performance.
The custom barge display will also feature an optimyze® condition monitoring device, HDPE pipe, drain, check valve, gate valve and flow meter.
 Flygt Pareo
Smart pumping has never been easier with the addition of Xylem’s Flygt Pareo, a monitoring and control system that drives automation and connectivity for any traditional dewatering pump in your mine. Pareo enables up to 70% less wear-and-tear on the pumping system, reduces equipment life cycle costs, and improves the reliability and safety of pumping operations.

 Godwin Rig Pump
Dewatering in an underground mine, tunnel or quarry is one of the toughest and most dangerous jobs a miner has. Harsh operating conditions result in early pump failures, higher repair costs, reduced system efficiency and greater safety risks for personnel. The Godwin Rig Pump is installed on the drilling rig, eliminating the hazard of trailing power cables, reducing exposure at the mine face, and enabling the miner to operate the pump from the drill rig.

Also to be showcased at the Xylem booth is a custom fabricated pontoon – designed to protect submersible dewatering pumps. This pontoon will hold the new Flygt Bibo Alpha with integrated intelligence that enables it to adapt its flow and head to cover a broad swath of the pump performance curve in a single unit. The Bibo Alpha is compact, created expressly to pump harsh mine water. A true plug-and-play option, the Bibo Alpha provides smarter pumping that lasts up to 4 times longer than a traditional dewatering pump.markers.
