Thickeners can help producers where a lack or cost of water is a concern. Thickeners can help reduce the size of settling ponds. When a Thickener is paired with dewatering or liquid-solid separating equipment, such as Decanter Centrifuges or Filter Presses, it can eliminate the need for a settling pond altogether. These types of equipment allow water to be reused in the washing process instead of being pumped to waste.
