Contain dust and fines.
In June 2024 the final rule from MSHA on respirable crystalline silica will take effect. This creates a uniform permissible exposure limit for all mines and lowers the permissible exposure to 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air for a full-shift exposure. Sampling, reporting, and corrective actions for overexposures are required.
Engineering controls are recommended as a primary means of maintaining compliance. Richwood addresses this challenge with engineered passive dust control systems that are site-specific and easy to maintain.
Built from the ground up with modular components that provide; belt support and impact protection, dust settling and expansion zones, complete transfer area enclosures, dust and material containment, safe and efficient load zones.
For over forty years, Richwood has partnered with the busiest material handling companies in the world. Today, new challenges are successfully met with proven solutions, expert advice. Rely on Richwood.
