Hollidaysburg, Pa., — Mark Krause, Vice President of Sales and Business Development – Americas at McLanahan Corporation, has announced his plans to retire effective July 17, 2026.
For over 47 years, Mark has been a dedicated member of the aggregate and materials processing industries, working for producers, manufacturers and dealers. His first role in 1979 provided a well-rounded background into the mineral processing industry and would form the foundational knowledge that he would take with him into many different roles.
Mark’s industry commitment has been best exemplified through his involvement in the National Sand, Stone and Gravel Association (NSSGA), where he most recently served as Chairman of the Manufacturer and Services Division from 2024-2025. In addition to his role as chairman, he has been active in many committees and subcommittees, helping the organization to grow and reach new members. His commitment to the aggregate industry was officially recognized in March 2026 when he was awarded the Barry K. Wendt Memorial Commitment Award.
“When Mark joined McLanahan in 2014, we knew we were very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and well-respected industry leader join our team,” said Sean McLanahan, President and CEO of McLanahan Corporation. “What a lot of people don’t get the opportunity to see is that Mark is a people-first leader. He truly cares about not only his team, but all those around him. He’s been a huge asset to us for the past 12 years, and his leadership will be truly missed.”
Mark is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Stephanie, as well as their children and granddaughter. They plan to travel and spend time at their family cabin. Mark will not be leaving the aggregate industry completely, as he plans to continue his well-known and respected Crushing 101 seminar at AGG1 and provide on-going training and education to the next generation of aggregate leaders.
