AGG-Pro, specialists in the distribution and support of machinery to the aggregate, processing and recycling sectors, have announced the acquisition of McCloskey Equipment. The strategic acquisition will expand Agg-Pro’s reach across the south of England and Scotland, making them the exclusive McCloskey dealer in Great Britain and enhancing their ability to serve customers with comprehensive sales and support services for McCloskey products across the country.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the acquisition, Steven Peterson, newly appointed managing director of Agg-Pro, said: ‘This acquisition is a natural fit for both Agg-Pro and McCloskey Equipment, enhancing our capacity to provide excellent service and support to a wider audience across Great Britain. Our combined expertise will strengthen our position in the market and create new opportunities for growth.’
Commenting on the transition, McCloskey Equipment owner Noel McCloskey said: ‘After years of dedication to our customers, I’m confident that Agg-Pro is the ideal partner to continue our legacy and expand the McCloskey footprint in Great Britain. Anthony Bouvie, vice-president of global sales and marketing at MPP Global, said: ‘This acquisition provides McCloskey customers with a strong nationwide partner. Agg-Pro will be able to provide state-of-the-art sales and aftermarket support, reinforced with a new parts depot in the south of England and additional highly skilled support engineers.
