Monterrey, Mexico – Cemex and HSBC Mexico announced a new social program focused on supporting and enhancing women-led businesses in the Cemex supply chain.

HSBC Mexico is providing women entrepreneurs financing under Cemex’s supplier finance program of up to 700 million pesos at a preferential cost, allowing them to access liquidity to strengthen their working capital.

This program is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reflects the commitment of Cemex and HSBC Mexico to financial inclusion and corporate social responsibility. Supplier finance programs allow suppliers to obtain immediate liquidity quickly and efficiently without waiting for the due date of their invoices.

In addition to benefiting women entrepreneurs, who are a fundamental part of the Cemex supply chain, this program aims to generate a positive impact by contributing socially and economically to the supply chain of the construction industry in Mexico.
