AEM is proud to support the annual Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Academy for the seventh straight year, and the association encourages industry professionals to attend this intensive two-day course this year.
AEM members who register and enroll will receive a $300 discount for the event, which is slated for June 10-11, 2021 at Arizona State University SkySong Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Having attended the HDD Academy in previous years, AEM is delighted to sponsor and participate in the HDD Academy as a supporting organization. The HDD industry is celebrating 50 years in the underground utility excavation industry with continued rapid growth, improved productivity, reducing your environmental footprint and enhancing the safety of the underground utility excavation,” said AEM Safety and Product Leadership Manager William “Bernie” Bernhard.
At this year’s event, industry experts will present information that will focus on the planning, designing, and construction of utility and pipeline projects. Attendees will gain knowledge about horizontal directional drilling pre-construction, design and material selection, construction, and operations. CEUs will be given out at the end of the course.
