Planet Underground, a key provider of information about the underground utility damage prevention process, and The Utility Expo have partnered for the 2021 show to bring their “Roundtable Live!” event to the Kentucky Exposition Center every other year as “The Jobsite – presented by Planet Underground.”
“The Jobsite will be an amazing opportunity for contractors to learn the latest about damage prevention and technology from the people they can trust most…their peers,” said John Rozum, The Utility Expo Show Director. “We’re looking forward to working with Planet Underground to bring this exciting new feature to The Utility Expo.”
To highlight the newly formed partnership, representatives from AEM (producers of The Utility Expo) will be attending The Roundtable Live! during its final rendition on Sept. 24 in Manteno, Illinois.
They will be there to network and help promote the industry initiative of damage prevention. Additionally, The Utility Expo will have a presence on-site to help attendees and sponsors better understand the partnership and what value it will bring to the industry.
“Planet Underground has built a successful event,” said John Somers, senior director of utility at AEM. “We just want to put it on a much larger stage during The Utility Expo in Louisville and expose more industry stakeholders to this needed focus in order to keep the lights on, internet up and running, and most importantly our communities safe.”
The Utility Expo is slated for Sept. 28-30, 2021 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
